I’m currently watching a Live beta streaming of The Crew on GhostDKGhost Twitch channel. The early impressions for me is that they game looks really nice in terms of graphics. It’s not blowing me out of my sit, but it look nice. Read more

Ubisoft put an embargo on early reviews surrounding its The Crew game coming for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. From what I could understand, Ubisoft don’t want for game reviewers to review the game prior to its release. In some way I can understand that, as this is a MMO-type racing game, and it strives its full potential when many people are populating the online open world. Without it, it would look like a half-baked game. Read more
Today I’ve read an article on ign.com called “5 reasons Wii U is worth owning”, but nothing got me ready to what I’ve read at the end of the article. As of the time of writing, there are 5066 user comments. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve read and article that has so many comments. Read more
I am so happy to see that Nintendo is doing amazingly well with the Super smash Bros. game (both for Wii U and 3DS). It seems like everyone is praising this game and the 9+ review scores keep coming every day. The game went down from 94 metascore to 92 and with 9.1 user score (as of the time of writing), this is one of the best Wii U games if not The Best game you can buy for your Wii U and 3DS consoles. I have to be honest here, one of the the things that I I think that I’ll be less comfortable with is the PS4 Dualshock 4 controller. I’m getting a PS4 console tomorrow and until now I’ve been playing PC games on my Windows laptop computer. I’ve been playing PlayStation games in the past and found the controller less ideal for shooters. Read more
After buying the PS4 today, I’ve decided to search for upcoming games that I would probably want to buy and play, and “The Crew” appears as one of them. I am not a big fan of car racing games in general, buy I enjoy is more when it has an online multiplayer option. Racing against others is fun and engaging for sure, but does The Crew game is the right one to pick? Read more
Today I finished mourning about accepting that I won’t be playing Super Smash Bros. on Wii U. Now it’s time to focus on the games that I will be playing after deciding to buy the PlayStation 4 instead. The first game I’ll play is GTA V that comes with the bundle, but I today I was really interested to know what are the most anticipated upcoming PS4 games for the upcoming months.
In general, most of the anticipated PS4 games will be released next year in 2015. Of course 2015 is almost year so we can already start tasting those new titles, although not all of them will be released in the first quarter of 2015. Also, some are exclusives for the PlayStation platform, others are not. Read more
A week ago I started reading reviews and opinion about the available video gaming consoles, to find the perfect gaming console to buy. If you’ve read my first post about me buying the PS4, you know that I bought the PS4 because I couldn’t find a Wii U for sell in my country. I can ask a local shop to order it for me, and it can take about three weeks until I get it. But the lack of support, warranty, accessories and game availability troubled me.
I probably would have gotten it instead of the PlayStation 4 if there was an official local distributor. The reason I opt for the Nintendo Wii U instead of the other consoles (ie. XBOX One, PS4) is because of three games the grabbed my attention: Super Smash Bros (Wii U version), Mario Kart 8 and Bayonetta 2. Some say that you need to look at the big picture, and there the Wii U fails, but I actually thought otherwise. Read more
Today I’ve decided to do two things: create my first blog about gaming and second, order a PlayStation 4 gaming console. I am 38 and playing games since I was a child. As far as I remember, my first two consoles were the Atari 2600 home video console (1997) and Commodore 64 (1982).
Since then I was playing mostly on a PC computer running Windows operating system and PC games, obviously. I have a laptop computer, and when I prefer that over a desktop computer. I wouldn’t call myself a hardcore gamer, more than a casual one. In the past I had some powerful machines, but now I usually play on my HP i7/6700M ATI laptop computer (Pavilon dv6). Read more
